Over the past eighteen years Mike Hamby has created a great many commission sculptures. Each one has its own individual meaning. Never could Mike have dreamed that one day he would be creating the bronze for a former teammate, Joe DeLamielleure, to be honored and inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. The 2003 NFL Hall of Fame induction ceremony is one that Mike will always hold close to his heart. Creating the bust of Joe DeLamielleure for the Hall of Fame was a tremendous challenge because of Mike's personal connection to the game of football and to his former teammate. Thanks to a good friend and great artist, Blair Buzwell, Mike was given the opportunity to tie together his artistic talents and never ending love for the game! Click images below for 360º Demos.
